Sandra
Sandra is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher (800+hs).
She graduated in Rhinebeck, NY, in 2010, and has been teaching Jivamukti Yoga in Berlin and worldwide since then. She started her regular Ashtanga/Mysore practice in 2016.
In 2019, she decided to found her own Yoga Shala – Practice – to pass on her experiences from her own Jivamutki and Asthanga practice. She is grateful to her teachers who guided her on this path so far.
Sandra is convinced that a regular daily practice ist he key to finding oneself. She teaches demanding, but simple classes, without any hectic, but with a lot of fire.
Her development to become a teacher of Yoga has also been shaped by various work experiences – being an actrice, a photographer as well as running an acting agency. Sandra is the mother of three children.
Vera
Vera is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching Jivamukti Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga in Berlin and abroad since 2011/2017.
Her classes are demanding, grounding and without frills, and yet convey a sense of lightness. She teaches in German and in English.
She is forever grateful to the teachers who guided and supported her on this way - on and off the mat.
Julien
Julien is a world traveller from France. Thanks to his job as an X-Ray technician, he had the opportunity to travel to and work in Guyana, South America, La Réunion Island and finally Berlin. When he joined the yoga community here, his idea was to finally give some love and care to his body after many years of little awareness and mistreatment through sports.
A long and devoted journey began for him. Through his teaching, he wants to pass on the knowledge gained through his own experience.
He completed his first teachertraining in India in 2018 at the Himalaya Yoga Valley Center. In february 2020 he will expand his skills with the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training. Julien teaches Vinyasa Yoga.
Dana
Dana is a Berlin based Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher. She practices and teaches daily – Ashtanga and Jivamukti Yoga. Dana cares a great deal about authenticity and vulnerability. She is giving thanks to her teachers, who always accompanied her with a loving eye, while giving her the tools she needed. Her classes are vigorous and always come with carefully curated music.
Nina
Nina is an 800hs certified Jivamukti teacher.
She took her first yoga class in 2005 – and what she thought would just balance out her stressful academic studies, was soon becoming a daily practice. After trying out different styles she finally found her home in Jivamukti Yoga.
In 2010 she completed the Jivamukti Yoga teacher training, followed by the apprenticeship with her mentor Vera Christopeit in 2014. Nina has been teaching in several yoga schools in Berlin ever since then, alongside her day job as a pharmacist.
Over the years, Ashtanga Yoga has also become a very important part of her daily practice. It is giving her tranquility and clarity, and she is trying to incorporate those aspects into her teachings.
Laura
Laura graduated from her first Yoga Teacher Training with Patricia Thielemann in 2009, and she has been studying Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage and Energy Work in various ways ever since. She is also a musician, a textile artist, and a mother of three children.
All these influences form her classes, so the practice becomes energetic and holistic experience, picking you up right from where you stand. In search for realness, Laura always brings you back to the roots of the practice – Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation – and back to you and your essence.
Elaine
Elaine teaches Mysore Style Ashtanga classes as well as led Ashtanga classes. Her classes are infused with clarity and joy for the practice.
She has been practicing Mysore Style Ashtanga since 2014.
She assisted Matias de Biedma and Carola della Croce during daily Mysore classes from 2017-2019 (900hrs+).
Her teachers are Matthew and Carla Vollmer and Sharath Jois (KPJAYI).
She is a certified massage therapist and is interested in Ayurveda and climate justice.
Stephanie
Stephie is a certified Jivamukti and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. She has been teaching Yoga since 2016.
Having a backround in classical ballet, she particularly enjoys the alignment for body and mind as well as the clarity that the Yoga practice gives her, and she is trying to pass these on in her classes. Stephie is teaching in German and in English.

Yoga has contributed to peeling away the layers of avidya (illusion, ignorance) and to find compassion for all beings. His classes are filled with "crisp" humor and endearing humility, skillful hands-on assists, and thoughtful choice of music. Juan offers a witty yet challenging practice that strives to inspire and empower, giving students tools to consciousness development and maintain undisrupted when faced with the calamities of everyday life.
Juan is currently living and teaching in Berlin and around Europe. He is eternally grateful to his Teachers who have influenced him: David Swenson, Sharon Gannon, David Life, and his mentor, Rima Rani Rabbath.
Gunni
Gunnhildur is an 800 hs Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and a Certified Yoga Nidra Teacher by Amrit Yoga Institute.
She graduated in Costa Rica in 2017 and has been teaching in Berlin ever since. By practicing daily she has tremendous trust in the healing power and transformational potential the practices of Yoga have.
She is very grateful for all the teachers who have supported her and guided her along the way.
Her classes are demanding, with a fierce and gentle touch in equal parts. Gunni loves sharing the benefits of yoga practices with her students. By focusing on conscious breathing, we can actively take charge over our own energy; in turn, healing can happen, further strengthening of who we truly are.
Heidi
Heidi is a certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher (800 hrs) and has been teaching since 2015.
After completing the Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Training at Govardhan Eco Village, India, in 2015 she continued to practice, study and teach in Berlin.
She is committed to a daily Mysore Ashtanga practice and is grateful to the teachers that appeared all along her way, including life‘s teachings itself. She values the yogic practices for their healing and grounding aspects in order to develop a more meaningful sense of being. She continues to observe and learn from the insights the practice offers.
Her teaching style is calm, rhythmic, and focused.
Natalie
Natalie has been working with body and movement since her childhood. Starting with martial arts, dancing, and acrobatics, she already experienced the strong interaction of body and mind and also their power of healing. For four years she has been practicing yoga and meditation mostly every day. She loves to share her physical and mental experience through the practice in her own yoga classes.
Natalie completed her Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga with Rishi Sudhir, Alan Ellman, Danni Cullen, and Olivier Charles at Sampoorna Yoga School in India.
She started her apprenticeship at Practice Berlin with Sandra Gerhard in March 2020.
